The objectives of our data breach services are two-fold. Firstly, to proactively strengthen an organisation’s defences before a breach has occurred. This involves understanding the threat environment in which an organisation operates, assessing the areas of greatest risk and implementing a comprehensive data breach readiness/action plan.
Secondly, to systematically assist organisations deal with the process after a breach has occurred. This entails undertaking an investigation into the root cause of the breach and also conducting a detailed analysis to determine the potential magnitude (size, scope, impact) of the issue. In addition, we help liaise with the necessary stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure all regulatory requirements are followed and affected customers are supported throughout the process.
Through preparing containment and response strategies in advance, organisations have a greater chance of reducing the impact that a data breach will have on their bottom line.
